G Element co-exhibition with Kiwitech
G Element had a successful exhibition showcasing NUCLEUS as a smart 3D unified management solution for smart, green and safe cities at the Smart Cities Asia 2015. We thank all those who took their precious time to join us at the event held at Putra World Trade Centre, 20 – 21 October 2015.
G Element’s South Asia Business Group Vice-President, Mr. Eric Loh at G Element’s booth
Asia is home to a large portion of the world’s biggest and fastest-growing developing urban areas and smart city Asia technology is turning into a critical component of their future improvement. NUCLEUS helps city managers to be smarter and more efficient in managing and keeping their cities safe, green and secure.
NUCLEUS’s open platform allows integration with multiple devices, such as CCTVs, energy management systems, water management systems etc. across the city. This consolidation of data from separate systems allows interactions between silo management systems, so that useful data analysis can be done efficiently and coherently.

At the exhibition, we have showcased NUCLEUS to work with Smart bin Intelligent Monitoring Solution. Using the Smart bin solution, the company in charge of city cleaning can remotely monitor the frequency and levels of usage of bins situated all over the city on NUCLEUS. Once the smart bins reach their maximum capacity, NUCLEUS alerts the cleaning company to schedule a garbage truck to collect the rubbish. This allows the cleaning company to reduce the number of trips the garbage trucks have to make in a day, while maintaining the level of cleanliness in the city, improving workforce efficiency.

BuildTech Asia 2015 – 13 – 15 October 2015, Singapore Expo Hall 3, Singapore
G Element co-exhibition with Intercorp
G Element had a successful exhibition showcasing NUCLEUS as a smart 3D unified safety and security construction management solution at the BuildTech Asia 2015. We thank all those who took their precious time to join us at the event held at Singapore Expo Hall 3, 13 – 15 October 2015.

With building and construction processes getting more and more complex, and the industry facing a tightening of foreign workers supply, companies are looking forward to learn new technologies to save manpower while maintaining growth. NUCLEUS’s progressive building constructing models allows contractors to keep track of building progress, and integration with Intercorp’s attendance management system, allows construction contractor companies to keep track of their manpower usage and report project productivity, across multiple construction sites.
To keep in line with Singapore Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) requirement of keeping track of workers location in a tunnel, NUCLEUS integration with Intercorp’s facial recognition biometric system and Tunity’s RFID allows contractors to know when their workers enter/exit the tunnel and where they are in the tunnel. This information is vital in cases of emergency evacuation, especially if construction accidents happens.

At the exhibition, we have also showcased a new feature of NUCLEUS, the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) function. The smart SOP allows construction companies to define the procedures and steps to be taken during times of emergencies, such as tunnel collapse or crane crash. Being clear cut and comprehensive, the smart SOP guides operators to better carry out emergency evacuations, while streamlining the process of logging down actions taken.

Using iBeacon tracking technology, staff and mobile equipment can now be easily tracked and traced on NUCLEUS’s 3D visualization of the premises. Together with the self location detection incident reporter application, anyone in the building premise with a camera-able mobile device can become an extra pair of monitoring eyes, where the user can report incidents or suspicious unattended baggage with ease.
Apart from security usages, iBeacon also allows communication of instructions via NUCLEUS to devices such as lights, to control the turning on/off of the devices, achieving building management at the same time.
